The one minute beauty video that has the industry raving

We’re familiar with empowering women through the use of their ad campaigns thanks to their Real Beauty Sketches and Dove Evolution videos, but now (Pantene NZ) is stepping up to the plate with the launch of its Labels Against Women video.

The video powerfully breaks down sexist double standards women often face in the workplace and has so far generated over 11 million views.

Originally posted on Pantene’s Philippines YouTube page on November 9, it wasn’t until American businesswoman Sheryl Sandberg praised the ad on her Facebook page that the video began to start bringing in clicks en mass - reaching 8 million views in 10 days.

As a result, P&G is now rolling out an international media campaign. The video will be promoted on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and on Pantene’s main site, according to Ad Age.
