Two of Garnier’s most loved product ranges, BB Cream and Hydra Bomb Sheet Masks, are getting a green makeover.
According to 2021 Kantar data, 51% of women try to buy products packaged in an environmentally friendly way.
Which is why Garnier BB Cream now has a brand-new look, formula, and green credentials. It has been relaunched with the brand’s first ever integrated cardboard tube, saving 49% of plastic compared to previous BB Cream tubes.
With an innovative lightweight and cleaner formula, as well as the advanced care benefits, Garnier’s new BB cream contains long-wear mineral pigments for breathable coverage and unified skin tone, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera for 24-hour hydration and SPF 15 for sun protection.
Garnier’s BB Cream range consists of Classic, Oil Free, Anti-Ageing and joining the range is the new Garnier BB Cream Even Tone SPF 50 Medium. This new tinted formula is enriched with vitamin C, which is known for its antioxidant benefits and illuminating properties, plus SPF 50 to help protect skin from sun induced dark spots and premature ageing.
In line with the brand’s Green Beauty commitments, Garnier has also made continuous changes to its Hydra Bomb Sheet Masks to improve the product’s environmental footprint.
In 2019, Garnier reduced the size of its sheet mask packaging, resulting in a 12% reduction in plastic and 20% reduction in aluminium. In 2020, the brand went a step further and removed the plastic liner from the pack, and in 2021 then went to reduce the overall pack size, which resulted in a further reduction in plastic by18% and aluminium by 8%.
Garnier’s Hydra Bomb Sheet Masks contain hyaluronic acid and are infused with the quantity of one bottle of serum to intensely hydrate skin in just 15 minutes. Garnier’s Hydra Bomb Sheet Masks now biodegradable by home-compost and are available across all major pharmacy, grocery, and online retailers.
