Lush ups its eco drive

is continuing its push to minimise its environmental impact by partnering up with eco-manufacturer Remarkable to ensure its plastic packaging can be recycled over and over again.

Remarkable will start making the plastic cosmetic pots made from polypropylene (PP), which were being created in Lush shops in the North of England.

The PP pots are converted into different forms of plastic which Lush reuses. This recycled packaging is then sent back to the manufacturer once it has served its purpose resulting in another conversion cycle that keeps on continuing,” says Remarkable managing director Edward Douglas Miller.

Lush approached Remarkable as they are able to recycle all the main plastic types including PP.
