Who: Ginger & Smart
When: 9:00 am, May 17, Art Gallery of NSW

Hair: Paloma Rose Garcia for Redken
Hair look:
“So we’re doing three looks here today at the Ginger & Smart show. Look number one is a little bit straighter, it still has a strong bend through it but looks really beautiful and polished. Look number two is scrunched curls - kind of wild with a matte finish to the hair and low side parts. The final look is really big, big curls - so we’ve tightly curled the hair into ringlets and then brushed it out. In the foundation work of the hair we’ve used Rootful 06 to create texture, Wind Blown Hairspray and Forceful 23 to finish.”

Makeup look:
“The collection is very colourful and playful so the looks are inspired by that. We’re doing four different looks today, and most of the girls have ‘the nude look’ which is all about radiant glowing skin. We’ve incorporated the Parisienne Glow into the looks again, and it’s all about capturing the luminosity in the skin and we’ve used the Lancôme Eclat Miracle to achieve that. The other three looks are incorporating a pop of colour, so for one we have a beautiful, Ginger & Smart copper liner on the top lash line using our Genifique Eye Light-Pearl serum mixed with shadow. The second liner look we have is a really beautiful sapphire blue; and then the final look we have is what we’re calling the ‘sunset look’, which has a bright yellow on the eyelid with a warm colour through the socket. On the skin we’ve started with Advanced Génifique to give the skin a healthy glow, and then we’ve used two primers - the La Base Pro and a base colour highlighting product. We’ve used Teint Miracle for the foundation to keep it subtle and then for a highlight we’re using Eclat Miracle. We’ve used some Belle de Teint as a contouring product to enhance the cheekbones and then the lips kept nude. For lashes we’re using Hypnose brown mascara on the blonde girls and for the darker girls we’re using black - but everyone has brown lashes on the bottom.
