is adding to his fragrance empire with a two-scent collection known as Eau de Prep. The range, inspired by the designer’s spring/summer 2011 Prep World collection, will consist of Eau de Prep Tommy and Eau de Prep Tommy Girl.
The fragrances will likely target 17-45 year-old men and women, although Hilfiger has said he things the majority of customers will be between young and the middle of that range – and while they’re cool, they don’t try too hard.
The Prep World and Eau de Prep customer mixes preppy with vintage and gives it a wink and a nod. They aren’t trying too hard to be cool and chic – they just express what they feel,” Hilfiger explains.
Aramis Australia has confirmed the Eau de Prep fragrances will be launched in Australia in February, 2012.
