In partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation Australia (NBCF), ghd celebrated the launch of its 2022 Limited Edition Pink Collection and the brand's 18-year ongoing partnership with breast cancer charities worldwide, raising over $22 million for the cause.
Hosted by Erin Holland, key guests had the opportunity to see the new collection first hand while feasting over a Mediterranean meze-style at Ikaria Bondi. Guests were also pampered at the pop up ghd Style Bar showcasing the new collection and were gifted personal line art portraits.
Throughout the event, guests enjoyed panel talks with Karen Cox, head of marketing of ghd for AU, and Cleola Anderiesz, CEO of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, cementing the importance of the self-check and self-respect. With over 20,000 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer each year, it was the optimal time to TAKE CONTOL NOW.
ghd presented a $134,838 cheque donation from last year’s TAKE CONTROL NOW campaign and was announced a Diamond Partner of the NBCF.
Additional guest speakers included Sara Monaghan, NBCF Community ambassador and breast cancer survivor, who embodied strength and bravery through her breast cancer story.
This year, ghd will continue its support by donating $20 from every Limited Edition Pink purchase to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in Australia.
