The Ordinary Hair Care is almost here! Available from March 8, The Ordinary Hair Care is set to challenge the way we traditionally think about shampoo, conditioners, and scalp serums.
This science-forward approach focuses on scalp care, creating the foundations to successfully support new and healthy hair growth.
The products have been designed with a skincare minded approach, and take inspiration from the brand's current product offering, with ingredient-led formulations with integrity.
"Maintaining optimal scalp health by protecting the skin's barrier, alongside effective cleansing and moisturising, is very important and we are able to achieve this with minimal ingredients tailored to target specific hair and scalp needs," DECIEM chief scientific officer, Prudvi Kaka said.
"With our hair launches, we are providing solutions that can be combined together to offer cleansing, conditioning and hydration, but can also be used as stand-alone products."
The range consists of three products:
The Ordinary Sulphate 4% Cleanser for Hair & Body ($12.80) – a gentle but effective cleanser that removes any dirt, grease and product residue.
The Ordinary Behentrimonium Chloride 2% Conditioner ($12.80) – has been formulated to offer a simple product that does not impart a heavy after-feel on the hair.
The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA ($21.80) – a first-of-its-kind, water-light formulation that improves scalp hydration and also offers skin barrier protection without sticking to the hair and weighing down the roots.
