Following news that Sarah Tarca will be departing marie claire to travel, her replacement has been announced as Lucy Adams. She is returning to the publication after a year’s maternity leave and spoke to BD about her new role as beauty director for the lifestyle publication.
What will your role entail?
I’ll be responsible for all things beauty at marie claire from writing stories in mag and online, editing, liaising with beauty brands and PRs to attending launches, styling shoots and generating social media content.
What days will you be in the office?
I’ll be in the office Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. And the lovely Sherine will be in Monday through Thursday.
