More big changes at Bauer Media

After 11 years with the company, Bauer Media-Hearst joint venture publisher Peter Holder has announced he is leaving the company.

Holder began at ACP Magazines in 2003 as founding editor of Men's Style and the publisher of titles within the men's group. He later became publisher of titles including Woman’s Day, TV Week, Take 5, NW, OK!, Dolly, Shop Til You Drop, CLEO, Rolling Stone, Empire and Zoo.

I have spent an extraordinary decade with this company and worked with many talented and highly professional people across some of the biggest brands in publishing. However, after much consideration, I came to the conclusion early this year that it is time for new things – and I’m now looking forward to the next stage of my career, however that unfolds. While I am excited about the future and spending time with my family, it will be a sad day when I leave – as I owe this place plenty. And for that, I thank everyone,” says Holder.

Bauer Media CEO Matthew Stanton adds: A departure date for Peter is yet to be determined as we will now commence the process of appointing a new publisher for the Bauer-Hearst JV titles and in true form, Peter is working with me to ensure a smooth transition for the joint venture and the company in general. I know this has been a difficult decision for Peter and we will miss him as he has been a well-respected and important contributor to our business. We thank him for his strong contribution and wish him all the very best for the future.”
