AFR’s Life & Leisure and Luxury Magazine’s former editor, Katarina Kroslakova, has teamed up with Appliances Online founder, John Winning, to launch a brand new magazine.
Called Winning, the 160-page neo-luxury lifestyle print magazine is the brainchild of John Winning. Launching on June 3, it will be aimed at men and women who are interested in ‘quality lifestyle and design.’
The title will cover news and features on all things travel, home, food, wine, fashion, technology, motoring, health and wellness. It will be sold quarterly in over 2,500 newsagents nationwide, with subscriptions available next month.
Currently the managing director of content creation agency Primary Ideas, and editor of Maserati’s Il Tridente Magazine, Kroslakova will be taking on the role of editor at Winning. John Winning will be the publisher, with the remaining team consisting of regular contributors.
“Winning Magazine is a project very close to my heart, and one I’m so excited to be able to share,” Kroslakova said. “Our inaugural issue is called The Joy Edition, which really sets the tone for what Winning is all about.
As we become more stressed, isolated, overwhelmed, and overworked, we come to value the things that matter most – and for many, these things are nostalgic. Regardless of how many Chanel jackets we own, or how many five-star hotels we’ve stayed at, it’s our life experiences which define us and our memories that bring us joy.”
John Winning also added that the title will ‘redefine the concept of luxury.’
