NZ: A new magazine launch and publisher changes

This year saw a lot of changes to the magazine industry, and it seems 2015 is set to witness similar movement. January will mark the launch of Living Well, a new quarterly magazine for Green Cross Health pharmacies, while Little Treasures will operate under a new publisher.

Tangible Media will be producing Living Well, a magazine focusing on family health and wellbeing.

Living Well provides insights and expert advice around caring for yourself and your family in the context of seasonal health, wellbeing and relationships, looking and feeling good and keeping active to get the most out of life,” says a spokesperson for the magazine.

Beauty journalist Melissa Williams-King will be producing the beauty pages for Living Well.

The start of the new year will also see Tangible Media take over the publishing duties for New Zealand’s leading parenting title, Little Treasures. Previously owned by Bauer Media, the first issue of the refreshed magazine will come out in January.

The new editor of Little Treasures is Nicola Dewe, with Williams-King looking after the beauty writing.

“Our new home is Tangible Media, a subsidiary of Image Centre Group. With a reputation for excellence in production, design and digital communications, they are New Zealand’s best specialist media company and the people who bring you Good, Dish and New Zealand Weddings,” says Dewe.

“As we move into the next phase of this much-loved title, we will be keeping all the elements that have made it great while investing more to create an even better product.”
