Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips
Long before Anne Hathaway rocked them in The Princess Diaries, Bioré’s Pore Strips were a beloved part of my beauty regime. When I get blackheads, I want them gone - and the strips always deliver! The small cloth strips are placed on the nose wet, and take 5-10 minutes to dry (conveniently about the same time as a hair mask). When removed, the strips lift stubborn blackheads and impurities that have buried themselves in the skin, while also helping to reduce pore size and appearance. Winning! - Sarah
Nad’s Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper
I tend to forget about my eyebrows in the same way I forget to water my succulents. Luckily, succulents really don’t need much looking after and manage to fare quite well when neglected. My brows, on the other hand… not so much! I used to get quite a shock when I looked in the mirror to see what can only be described as two bushy caterpillars on my face. I’ve learnt to carry the Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper by Nad’s around with me so that I can swiftly and easily tame the caterpillars wherever I am. - Kelly
Nude by Nature Pressed Mattifying Mineral Veil
I've never used a finishing powder before, but this Nude by Nature one caught my eye due to its multiple functions. The semi-matte powder has amazing staying powder and a lightweight feel, and delivers a translucent finishing veil to the skin. As well as working to set make-up and create a smooth and flawless finish, it also absorbs any excess oil (so no shiny foreheads!), hydrates skin with vitamin E, kakadu plum, and cehami extract, and has light-diffusing technology to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and other imperfections. Now do you see why I changed my tune on adding a finishing powder to my beauty routine?! - Yelena
Revlon PhotoReady™ Primer + Shadow
Eyeshadow is a staple in my make-up routine, so I was excited to branch out from my normal colour palette and try the Revlon Photoready Primer + Shadow. When I’m in a hurry, I skip the primer step, but with this product, there are no excuses for not priming those delicate lids. Applying the shadow was surprisingly easy, and the experts at Revlon have taken the guesswork out of colour matching and clashing, teaming shadows together to create a perfectly blended smoky look. There are eight colour combinations to choose from, but I’d be very happy to see Revlon bring out more of these beautiful shades! - Joc
Empro Triangular Brow Pencil
I love brows! Gimme gimme gimme. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with the darkest of eyebrows (even my eyelashes are white at the tips), so having a good brow pencil in my kit is essential. The Empro triangular brow pencil is perfect for me because it makes drawing on your eyebrows SO easy. The unique shape of the pencil means I can turn the pencil sideways and draw on the tail of my brow and create a perfect arch. When I am ready to shade in my inner brows, I turn the pencil the other way to create a thicker shape. I also really love the colour of this pencil – as a blonde, if a brow pencil is too warm, my eyebrows look ginger. That’s not the case with Empro –the E4 Blonde is the ideal ash colour for me. Love. - Whitney
ModelCo Double Sided Facial Wipes
It’s one of the worst (and easiest!) beauty faux pas: sleeping with make-up on. I’m guilty of it, which is why I’ve been on the hunt for something that will wipe the day away on the laziest of nights. Cue, ModelCo’s Double Sided Facial Wipes. I keep them next to my bed for ease of access. The wipes work to not only remove make-up, but also cleanse and exfoliate skin. One side of the wipe features exfoliating microbeads that help to remove dead skin cells, and the other side gently cleanses skin. The wipes are formulated with aloe vera, cucumber extract, green tea and vitamin E to really hydrate and soothe skin. The whole process takes a few minutes and I’m left with clean, soft skin. Winning! - Aja
