The BD team trial a range of pretty palettes.

Rimmel London Kate Moss Sculpting & Highlighting Kit
I’ve always wanted to try the contour trend, but feared smearing layers of foundation on my face would leave my blemish-prone skin looking worse off. The Kate Moss Sculpting & Highlighting Kit is the perfect solution to my contour woes: a palette with three different shades that I used to subtly sculpt and highlight my face. I used the darker bronze shade in place of my usual bronzer (on my temples, under my cheekbones and on the tip of my nose), the lighter shade along the top of my cheekbones and under my brow bone and the coral shade on the apples of my cheeks. The result? A perfectly sculpted, flawless complexion! And its buildable powder formula meant I could control how much product I wanted to apply, and didn’t end up caking it on. - Caitlin

I have a love of everything that comes out of Byron Bay – and my latest obsession is no different. Hailing from Byron, Eye of Horus delivers a range of beauty products spreading the town’s enchantment all around the country. My current favourite in the range is the Sheba Mystical Palette featuring a fusion of three rich plum shades. Designed for the “mystical goddess”, the shadows are Italian baked, long-lasting, crease-proof, and can be blended perfectly together. Do you believe in magic? - Yelena

There’s nothing quite like a power couple (if you need proof just look at Bey and Jay) – a mentality that CLINIQUE obviously share looking at their All About Shadow duo. Sand Dunes is a coupling of creamy gold and soft nude that brightens the eye with high-intensity and – more importantly – long-wearing pigment. - Sarah

Natio
I had a nude awakening when I discovered bronzers and contours were not the palettes I should play with. But if there’s one thing my pale, freckly skin has a penchant for, it’s eyeshadow. Natio’s Mineral Eyeshadow Trio - Cocoa palette contains three shades (soft pink, natural brown and copper) to add depth, pigment-rich colour and highlight to the eye area. The long-lasting, ultra-blendable shades are earthy enough to prevent any ‘panda eyes’ from a smokey eye attempt, but striking enough for a warm, natural highlight. - Ally

Bright red spots, sallow skin and eye circles so dark I look like a black-eye victim. A really pretty picture I’ve painted there, am I right?! Gone are the days where one lone shade of concealer was expected to solve all our colour complexion woes. Now a whole slew of shades is available to hide even the pigmented of imperfections. Rather than have an array of tubes rolling about my make-up bag, I love that this Innoxa concealer palette has six shades to cover everything life could possibly throw at your face. - Kelly

Maybelline New York Blushed Nudes Palette
On a typical day eyeshadow and myself don’t tend to hang out. However when the Maybelline New York Blushed Nudes Palette landed on my desk, I felt this was about to change. If the rose gold packaging wasn’t enough, the beautiful selection of flushed, rosy tones held my attention. With 12 varying shades and the choice of a shimmer or matte finish, I know I will use this palette regularly. - Laura
