At the recent La Prairie Caviar Moments event, I was introduced to the new-launch Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation SPF15. I was lucky enough to have it expertly applied by a La Prairie skincare expert and the luxury feel of this foundation did not disappoint. The shade was a perfect match and thanks to the clever, skincare-enriched formulation, the finish looked just like my own skin but amped up with so much more radiance! A little of the in-lid concealer around my nose and under eyes resulted in a smooth, even and flawless finish. I love the lightweight feel of this foundation and I can see at the end of the day that the peptide-enriched formulation has worked its magic to keep my skin hydrated and healthy. Philips Zoom QuickPro
Philips Zoom QuickPro was made with time-poor people in mind, which is what the lovely dentist told me when I popped out to get the treatment in my lunch break. Basically, it’s a two-step solution that takes all of 10 minutes in the chair. Firstly, the dentist applies a whitening varnish, which is quickly followed by a ‘sealant’ to lock in the varnish and let it do its thing. The sealant forms a white film on your teeth, and I was told to wipe or brush it off 30 minutes later. I could see the sealant but couldn’t feel it, and there was none of that sensitivity associated with teeth whitening - a huge bonus! While QuickPro works best as a ‘touch up’ for those who have had their teeth whitened before (and claims to deliver a smile up to four shades brighter), I haven’t had mine professionally whitened in over five years, and I’m very happy with the results! The dentist said many patients add it on to their annual or twice annual cleaning appointment, and I’ll be doing the same. - Katia
