ModelCo LASH & LINE Superlash Mascara & Liquid Liner
You would think I’d never seen a beauty product before when the ModelCo LASH & LINE Superlash Mascara & Liquid Liner landed on my desk. The idea of one of my favourite Aussie brands teaming up with two of my essentials (mascara and liquid liner) made me very excited, to say the least. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The eyeliner delivers the perfect cat-eye with a thin tip in the blackest of black ink (LOVE), while the mascara gives a dramatic finish by creating thick, full, long lashes. This goodie is a must-have for party season. - Yelena
CROP
My make-up has slid off my face for as long as I can remember. And I’ve honestly never had a primer that worked the way it should, so I’m always keen to try new ones. When I saw the CROP Natural Face Primer, I wanted to smother it on - I just knew my skin would eat up the almond oil, shea butter and other certified organic ingredients. The natural, lightweight primer glided on and clung to my skin immediately - meaning my make-up would cling to it the same way. I’m happy to say the primer addressed my concerns as I had hoped. My make-up went on perfectly smooth and stayed on that way until I was ready to take it off. It’s a winner! - Jocelyn
Dr. LeWinn's Eternal Youth Luminosity Golden Essence
Metallics are having a major moment – and not just in make-up. They’re popping up in skincare, too. Case in point: the Dr. LeWinn's Eternal Youth Luminosity Golden Essence, which not only contains 24-carat gold, but is also gold in colour. The serum is light and fast-absorbing, and is packed with actives to reduce the signs of fatigue, stress, and one too many red wines (shhh). I’ve been using it in a mission to get glowy for spring, and so far I’m pretty impressed. It claims to boost skin luminosity by 152 per cent - so stay tuned! - Katia
Scunci Brushology Straightening Brush
I have very long, very thick and very hard-to-manage hair. So when this brush - which claims to achieve straight, shiny and frizz-free hair - landed on my desk, I was a little excited. I used the brush as I would a straightener, clamping down the hinges on small sections of hair as I blasted it dry. The end result? Manageable hair! My hair was far tamer than it would be had I left it to air-dry. The brush is not quite as effective as a hair straightener, but when used in conjunction with a hairdryer, it does straighten my locks and definitely reduces frizz. I’d recommend it for those who are after a natural, ‘I-woke-up-like-this’ look. - Cait
bhave Flex Styling Paste
Since chopping my locks into a bob, I’ve learned that short hair is a whole different ballgame when it comes to taming. I’ve also discovered it requires a separate set of products. I still want to control my naturally wavy hair while minimising frizz, so I was pleased to find the bhave Flex Styling Paste. The pliable paste is a mixture of argan oil, olive oil and aloe vera that, once rubbed between my hands, smooths my mop and gives it some texture. I’m sold. - Sarah
Face of Australia Colour Pro Nail Enamel
I feel much more happier with painted nails, and choosing the right colour is crucial as I have to make sure it matches my complexion as well as my outfits. Enter the Face of Australia Colour Pro Nail Enamel. As soon as I painted it on, I was amazed at how it not only it suited my skin tone, but also made my hands look more tanned - perfect for the upcoming summer days! And if you’re as impatient as I am, you’ll be happy to hear about the quick-dry, chip-resistant formula. Bye, bye, nail drying disasters! I’m drunk in love with this Champagne Kiss. - Nadine
Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle
My boyfriend works in the mines, which means he’s away a month at a time. Suffice it to say, I certainly let my hair down while he’s away. Or ‘out’ might be the operative word, especially given it’s winter and I would prefer to do other things than groom. Like, you know, watch Vampire Diaries reruns and eat Lime & Black Pepper chips. When he returns, my new go-to hair-removal option is the Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle. Using the trimming side on my nether regions first will cut down the workload for the razor side, making both he and I much happier campers. Clever thinking, Schick! - Kelly
