Multi-purpose products are having a moment in the beauty industry. Women around the globe are keen to uncover new creations that can do a few things - and do them well.
The Revlon Photoready Instafix Foundation is one such innovation, helping to contour and cover, while being petite enough to carry around in a handbag. Formulated with super-refined pigments and light filtering technology, the foundation keeps users looking selfie-ready at all times. The stick in which it is housed makes it both easy to use and store.
Its all-in-one approach was embraced by the BD Expert Panel on a recent trial, with 90 per cent revealing they would use the foundation in their make-up routine. After playing around with it, 90 per cent said they chose to use the make-up as a foundation, 70 per cent for touch-ups and 60 per cent as a concealer. 80 per cent agreed t the foundation also helped with their major skin concern: oiliness, dryness, pigmentation, or redness.
Oz Product Junkie blogger Ash Quinn says of her experience: “Another great Revlon base. Loved the texture and the fact that it didn't settle into fine lines, pores or cling to rough patches. Also really handy for touch-ups.” Vogue Vandal’s Domenica Calarco agrees, saying: “[I loved] its longevity and how easy it was to blend. I also liked how you can carry it around in your purse.”
There are six shades available, and 100 per cent of the BD expert panel believed their colour matched their skin tone. An additional 100 per cent believed the price was reasonable, 90 per cent confirmed they would recommend it to others, with 80 per cent said they would be happy to continue carrying it around in their handbag.
Beauty Hacks blogger Michelle Ruzzene says: “[It] went on smoothly with great coverage, and will be a permanent fixture in my handbag.” The Daily Mark’s Madeleine Burke agrees: “A fantastic one stick wonder. Perfect for your desk or handbag to re-energise your fading make-up or as an emergency cover-up for days you need it!”
