After smashing sales records with his Someday fragrance last year, Justin Bieber is back to giving the girls a piece of his heart with the launch of his new scent Girlfriend.
Housed in a heart-shaped bottle wrapped in gold lacing, the fragrance is described as flirty sophistication”.
Girlfriend is kind of a more mature version of Someday,” Bieber told WWD. It has some of the same scents to it, but older. It’s going to be a great fragrance, and I think people are going to like it a lot.”
Like with his music, Bieber knows his target audience is with the hoards of women clambering to get him.
We wanted to make a fragrance for my female fans — I don’t know what’s going to happen from here, though. At the moment, I’m not interested in making a men’s fragrance.”
Similar to his previous fragrance, Girlfriend will have a charitable component under the Give Back Brands business model – with money going towards Pencils of Promise.
The whole point of the fragrance was to give back and add a charitable component to my fragrance. That’s why we teamed up with Give Back.”
The fragrance has top notes of sparkling pear, crisp mandarin and rich blackberry, middle notes of pink freesia, star jasmine, apricot nectar and orange blossom and base notes of vanilla orchid and luminous musk.
