Actress Blake Lively has been named the face of the new Gucci scent, Gucci Premiére, joining fellow thespians Evan Rachel Wood, Chris Evans and James Franco as the design house's representatives.
In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood's golden era. Blake's unique style and charisma brings that allure to life in a very contemporary way," says Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini of the new scent.
Blake Lively says she's equally thrilled to be working with Giannini and "I admire the qualities of the Gucci Première woman and feel honoured to represent the fragrance."
Lively will star in a short film for the fragrance campaign directed by Nicolas Winding Refn who was awarded best director for Drive at the Cannes Film Festival last year, and it will be shown during the Venice Film Festival on September 1, 2012. The print campaign for Gucci Première was shot by Mert & Marcus.
Gucci Premiere launches in Australia on October 14, 2012.
