It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Pacific Magazines. Following on last week’s news that Girlfriend and Total Girl are merging editorial teams and Prevention is going bi-monthly, the publishing company is also going through some editor changes.
With New Idea editor-in-chief Kim Wilson going on maternity leave last Friday, Louisa Hatfield is stepping in as the acting editor-in-chief from July 21. Frances Sheen will remain in her role as editor of the magazine, while Fiona Tomarchio is continuing on as deputy editor.
At InStyle Australia, Jessica Irvine has moved into the role of associate editor and will be working Monday to Wednesday. Jacqueline Lunn has been appointed deputy editor of the magazine, while Shannon O’Meara is the new online producer. O’Meara will be working Monday to Thursday. All the appointments are effective immediately.
