Having proven long ago she’s more than a pretty face, Nicole Richie is adding another line to her illustrious resume, with the introduction of candles and home fragrances to the House of Harlow 1960 collection.
Richie emerged as one to watch in the lifestyle business in 2007 with the launch of her jewellery collection House of Harlow 1960. Four years later, she introduced her ready-to-wear clothing line Winter Kate.
Now, Richie has partnered with D.L. & Co to create a 14-piece collection for the home featuring three different scents - Midnight Moon, Saint James and Winter Kate. The range includes notes of jasmine tea, coconut milk and sandalwood.
“The plan has always been for House of Harlow to ultimately become a lifestyle brand. Home is something that’s very important to me - I design my own house, we entertain - and scents and warmth keeps the room, the energy moving. It creates a vibe for whatever space you’re in,” Richie told InStyle.
“It was very important for the scents to match what House of Harlow represents - they’re warm, powerful, cool, and they represent being free and expressing yourself creatively. And they become nice as a whole; they smell nice burning altogether. Mixing scents is something I like to do, something I’ve always done.”
