Jennifer Lawrence lands first beauty campaign

Blonde bombshell Jennifer Lawrence has formed a strong affiliation with the House of Dior after several years of spruiking the luxury brand’s wares. The former face of ready-to-wear and the Miss Dior handbags, the Academy Award winner has also almost exclusively worn Dior on red carpets around the globe.

Now the French label has utilised its partnership with the American actress in the field of beauty, announcing her as the new face of Dior Addict make-up.

The brand confirmed the news in a press release this week, stating: “The House of Dior is pleased to announce Academy Award®-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is the new face of Dior Addict Lipstick.”

“As part of her involvement, Jennifer Lawrence will be seen appearing in commercials and a custom-made print campaign for the brand-engaging young, confident women who exude the vibrant, seductive flair of Dior Addict make-up.”

The first images of the campaign were unveiled alongside confirmation from the brand, revealing a fresh-faced Lawrence made up in the rosy hues of the collection. Australian fans of Dior Addict will be able to get their hands on the latest range when it lands in stores on September 1, 2015.
