Brazilian bombshell Adriana Lima is the latest addition to Marc Jacobs’ fragrance team, having just been announced as the face for its upcoming perfume, Decadence.
This is not the first time Jacobs and Lima have collaborated. The Victoria’s Secret angel stars in the New York designer’s current ready-to-wear campaign, and she wore a Marc Jacobs gown at Sunday’s Met Gala.
Described as the “antithesis of the designer’s sunny and sweet Daisy”, the latest fragrance will be an opulent concoction of scents created for an entirely different Marc Jacobs girl.
Group vice president of COTY Lori Singer discusses the new fragrance: “It’s about a good girl planning to be decadent. It’s very high quality, opulent, very elegant and sophisticated. Daisy is more casual and whimsical and naïve. This fragrance will elevate the elegance of the entire house of fragrances.”
