The beauty business is an industry that can change in the blink of an eye. It’s an understanding that author Zoe Foster Blake is all too familiar with as former beauty editor of Cosmopolitan magazine - and the catalyst behind her latest book Amazinger Face.
Having released her first make-up and skincare bible Amazing Face back in 2010, Blake yesterday launched an update to the book - making it relevant for 2016. The publication is reflective of Foster Blake’s growing experience in the beauty industry.
Blake says of her new book: “It’s called Amazinger Face, because, well, it is. In that it is the much-needed update to my beauty book, Amazing Face, which I wrote back in 2010, and which is still glorious, but needed a make-over.”
A changing beautyscape has been the catalyst for the book’s revamp, with Blake noting the impact of the rise of bloggers and vloggers. On her website Zo They Say, she also admits to wishing to include in the updated version her changing stance on sun protection as well as new product favourites.
