Former Girlfriend and MTV journalist Mel Mason has taken the reins over at Primped with the beauty expert confirmed as editor of the site. Mason recently spoke to BD about what we can expect from her new role:
What will your new role entail?
As editor, I'm the primary contact for all things Primped. I'll be managing the content on site, working on editorial strategy and representing the brand at events.
What attracted you to the position?
Primped.com.au has such an amazing legacy of being a relatable, down-to-earth beauty site, which fits perfectly with who I am as a writer and as a person in general. Its followers are loyal and super engaged with the content as well, so I knew coming on board that I would be writing for an audience that was passionate. Having people chat about your story and bring their own opinions is honestly the best thing as a writer.
What are you most looking forward to?
We're gearing up for a relaunch later in the year, which is really exciting.
