Snapchat is now so much a part of daily life that it’s hard to imagine a world without it. The communication platform has now amassed 100 million daily users, who are making 9000 updates per second. There are 200 million monthly active users, who send 700 million photos and videos to followers, who are viewing those same attachments 500 million times per day. In the US alone, 60 per cent of the population aged between 18 and 24 years is on the social media app.
But despite its booming use, not all Snapchat users are the same. There are those who have mastered the app, who YourStory have named below:

- Gary Vaynerchuk (garyvee) is a public speaker, investor in Snapchat, Uber and Tumblr, and is who YourStory name to be the most influential business person on the platform. His daily hustle and dedication to his workload are revealed in his daily posts.
- John Kapod (chocjohnny) is the third generation of chocolatiers manning Perfection Chocolate in Sydney. His content is food- and customer-focused, and particularly successful at engaging the audience with contests and behind-the-scene insights.
- DJ Khaled (djkhaled305) is a rapper and radio personality that utilises his account to provide users with pep talks, as well as document his zany daily adventures.
- Virginia Salas Kastilio (ginicanbreathe) is a YouTuber who is regularly employed to consult and create strategies on the Snapchat platform. It is rumoured she is paid up to $US3000 a story.
- Joel Comm (joelcomm) is a best-selling author and motivational speaker who focuses his efforts on inspiring users, as well as teaching them about the best ways to utilise various social media efforts.
