For the Kardashian clan, business has always been a family affair. It’s a mentality that looks set to continue with Khloe Kardashian joining forces with younger sister Kylie Jenner to create a limited-edition makeup line.
The collection (crafted in time for the holidays) is titled the ‘Koko Kollection’ by Kylie Cosmetics and consists of four lip products selected by Kardashian. There are three matte shades available – the burgundy Gorg, fuschia Okurrr, and nude Khlo$, accompanied by glittery pink gloss Damn Gina.
Says Kardashian of the launch: “I can't believe it's finally here! I am so excited Kylie is sharing her lip-kit empire with me! So proud of the collaboration we have created together! We've both worked really hard on these shades! It's perfect! It's everything. Ky, I'm so honored to be your first collaboration! Working with you is a dream! I couldn't be prouder of the empire you created and I'm thrilled to be apart of it now. I love you so much sister!! The first surprise of the holidays!!!! This 4 piece drops next week November 9th at 3pm!”
In keeping with tradition, Jenner announced the launch via her Snapchat. Showcasing the swatches, she comments: "How gorgeous is the Koko Kollection? This is by far one of my favorite projects, and Khloe you did such a good job."
The price point of the new pack will also be lowered for fans. Says Jenner: “Khloe and I love you guys and we really wanted everyone to have a chance to experience this collection, so it's $[US]40 (AUD $52) on KylieCosmetics.com (in comparison to the traditional AUD$86).”
