Gritty Pretty sets up new workspace

Gritty Pretty has gone from strength to strength since its inception. Now the booming beauty publication has proven too big for current office La Porte Space, making its move to a stand-alone office in Rosebery from Monday. Gritty Pretty founder and editor Eleanor Pendleton recently spoke to BD about what we can expect from the company’s new workspace.

Why did you decide to move out of La Porte?
Our team is growing rapidly. We recently reached a point where we outgrew our beautiful little space at La Porte. With the launch of Gritty Pretty's upcoming e-store, we also needed a space to accommodate our wholesale stock, picking and packing and shipping of orders. We're very excited to have moved into our own standalone space. We're right in the thick of Rosebery on Dunning Avenue – it's both strategically and dangerously close to Gelato Messina, Archie Rose Distillery and Black Star Pastry.

What does this new space look like?
Gritty Pretty HQ is located in a two-storey industrial-style warehouse. There [are] polished concrete floors, [an] exposed industrial roof and plenty of black aluminium steel. It's very Gritty Pretty. We've balanced out the industrial yet chic feel of the space by adding feminine touches – Urban Couture armchairs, white linen lounges and plenty of indoor plants.

What is your new address?
Gritty Pretty, 9/108 Dunning Avenue, Rosebery NSW 2018. There is also a loading car space available for couriers.
