LUSH teams up with conservation charity Sumatran Orangutan Society
LUSH has teamed up with conservation charity Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS) to raise money for the purchase of 50 hectares of disused oil palm plantation in order to turn it into a permaculture demonstration site.
Across the Asia Pacific Region, LUSH is selling a limited edition charity product (from March 16-28), the SOS Sumatra shampoo bar RRP $14.95 with all sales (excl GST) donated to SOS and their local partners on the ground in Sumatra to purchase the land. The brand is aiming to raise a total of $AUD265,000.
LANO appoints new general manager
Congratulations to Tammy Pall who has been appointed general manager (president) of LANO.
Working in H/O at top level side-by-side with founder and CEO Kirsten Carriol, Tammy is responsible for the development and execution of the global retail strategy and operations. This comes at a pivotal time for LANO, as it has recently opened 16 new countries, and exports hit the 75% mark of our total sales.
Tammy will work closely with retail channels & commercial partners to develop our short and long term strategic plans to drive growth and market share of Lano Lips Hand + Allover.
Tammy brings over 15 years luxury skincare and cosmetics operational marketing experience to the role, having held 'head of marketing' roles for La Prairie, Clarins, Yves Saint Laurent, Elizabeth Arden and Lanolips. Tammy also held a key leadership role at Australia’s largest prestige distributor Trimex – where she headed the portfolios for many brands with large team of marketing, training, promotion, communications and personnel reporting to her to manage the following multinational groups Oceania region’s operations: Puig Group, Euroitalia Group, P&G Prestige, J&J Roc, Clarins Fragrance Group, Hermès, Ferragamo, Acqua Di Parma, Annick Goutal and Cartier.
