Tarte Cosmetics has partnered with parent company Kosé to relaunch sister brand Awake – a cruelty-free collection inspired by Japanese skincare that works, "in a New York minute", according to yesterday's press release.
Tarte and Awake are both part of Japan's Kosé, that also owns the likes of Decorté, Infinity and Jill Stuart. The company has combined its knowledge of high-performance naturals™ with traditional Japanese formulas to create a number of multitasking skincare hybrids.
Products include a pearlescent vitamin C serum that brightens, an antioxidant-rich concentrate that mattifies and a gel-serum that helps keep oily-skin in check. The range also includes tinted lip balms, face masks, and more – all formulated with antioxidants, vitamins, and botanicals. The products are affordable with most coming in under $50, and the best news? It ships to Australia.
