The KEVIN.MURPHY signature packaging is set to have a makeover debuting mid-2019, reworking their bottles to be made exclusively from 100 per cent recycled ocean plastics.
The company will be the first beauty brand to implement this practice, which is projected to save over 360 tons of new plastic each year.
“This change is for the future of our environment and for us to be truly sustainable – to clean up our oceans for the sake of our planet and for future generations,” said the brand’s founder Kevin Murphy.
Commitment to the environment is at the company’s core, beginning with utilising organic growing practices, micro cultivation and ecologically-sound wild harvesting techniques to ensure the very highest natural quality product.
The campaign will not only make an impact on the world’s plastic production, but is intended to start an industry-wide conversation about the heart of the issue, safe packaging disposal.
