Clinique reveals first global brand ambassador

Clinique has named critically acclaimed British actress, Emilia Clarke as its first global brand ambassador for the brand's skincare and makeup line. Clarke will appear in the first skincare campaign for the Clinique iD collection in celebration of the multi-faceted, empowered and optimistic woman that she is. As part of the campaign, the Game of Thrones star will share her skincare journey on social media starting January 15 with the hashtag #iDYourself.

 “Clinique has been a long-standing advocate for empowering women with the knowledge that good skin can be created,” said Jane Lauder, global brand president at Clinique. “We were drawn to Emilia because she is optimistic, happy in her skin and embodies a modern multi-faceted woman who is constantly evolving along with her skincare needs.” 

Lauder further shared that the actress is also a genuine user and fan of the brand and with an impactful voice in the industry, will help inspire customers to embrace their individual skincare journeys.  

Along with the new appointment, Clinique has also announced two new additions to the range including the Clinique iD Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing BB-Gel and Clinique iD Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing Tone-Up Gel. The collection now features 20 unique combinations, allowing customers to create their own custom-blend moisturiser.
