Sarah Mourtos has joined the SPA+CLINIC team as its new online editor. She will be working alongside editor, Nadine Dilong to help cover the latest news from the aesthetics and wellness industry.
“I am so excited at the opportunity to be a part of the team at SPA+CLINIC," said Mourtos. "When I first started my degree at the University of Wollongong, I quickly pushed aside the dream of ever working as a beauty journalist because journalism was and still is such a hard industry to crack into, so I pinch myself every day that I ended up where I am."
Mourtos has previously written for wedding blog Wedded Wonderland, and Australian fashion retailer, The UNDONE. She then moved on to become the online journalist for esprit Magazine, where she helped launch its online platform after almost 30 years of print.
Mourtos will also continue her role as beauty editor for professional hairdressing magazine, INSTYLE.
“I have enjoyed every moment at The Intermedia Group. Starting at esprit was such a learning curve, and INSTYLE is where I found my feet as a journalist, which are firmly planted in the beauty space. I can’t wait to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to SPA+CLINIC.”
