Are Media has today announced the acquisition of the very successful Australian e-commerce business, Hard to Find.
Hard to Find is an award-winning, premium product marketplace, celebrating unique and innovative design from the best small creative businesses in Australia and across the world.
Founded in 2008 by former publisher Erica Stewart, the site brings together an expertly sourced global community of product designers and artisans with discerning consumers looking for something different – creating a more personal maker-to-customer shopping experience.
“This acquisition, and the technology it's built on, will create new e-commerce opportunities for our broader business and allow audiences across our brands the opportunity to not only be inspired and informed by the outstanding content we create each day, but to also transact,” Are Media CEO, Jane Huxley, said.

I'm delighted that Erica is bringing her wealth of experience to Are Media as GM of Hard to Find. She will report to the Director of Products and Platforms, Ian Harris.”
