Who knew beauty and sports could come together so harmoniously. Estee Lauder has announced an exclusive partnership with soccer team Manchester United as its first ever skincare partner.
The English club has a global fan base of 659 million, with 325 million of those from Asia. With its enormous reach, it made sense for the beauty brand, who is hoping to extend its footprint in China and APAC, to team up with the renowned team.
The beauty world isn’t foreign territory for Manchester United, having worked with multinationals such as Unilever and Remington in the past. However, this is the first time the club has partnered up for a skincare product.
The collaboration will help promote Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair, a wildly successful product and the brand’s number one selling serum. The treatment has been reformulated many times, and the latest version, the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex is the most powerful version yet.
The campaign, which is set to debut in the coming months, will feature players Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Alejandro Garnacho and Raphael Varane.
