I love a good face mist and rarely miss this step as part of my daily skincare routine, so I was very excited to see this newly released facial spritz from Alya Skin on my desk. The nourishing spritz leaves my skin feeling instantly hydrated, and helps to minimise redness. As well as using after cleansing, I have tried it over make-up during the day and it sits beautifully on the skin, making it the perfect desk-edition for a regular skin pick-me-up. The watermelon mojito scent has me drooling with every spritz, and the ultra-packed formulation of prebiotics, hyaluronic acid, gotu extract and black wattle extract, leaves skin super revitalised. I also really appreciate the packaging – weighty, matte and feels super luxe in the hand. Highly recommend giving this new offering a go. ($29.99 at Alya Skin)
Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ Cg Radiance Intensive Cream – Scarlett's pick
I received the Avène Vitamin Activ Radiance Cream as part of a trial and it’s safe to say I LOVE it! I've been using it consistently for a few weeks now, and I'm so impressed with the results. My skin feels noticeably smoother and looks more radiant. It’s a cream-based moisturiser that has a light, pleasant scent and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated without any greasy residue. I've also noticed that my skin has been looking more even toned as I do struggle with redness, especially now heading into winter. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their skin's radiance. The price point is more expensive than the usual budget friendly moisturisers but I can really vouch and say that every dollar is definitely worth it. ($72.99 at Chemist Warehouse)
Klorane Ultra-Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat & Ceramideᴸᴵᴷᴱ – Sarah's pick
Klorane has fast become one of my favorite drugstore hair care brands. Its French formulas and soft natural ingredients are heavenly. I recently tried this dry shampoo and it has become a rinse and repurchase in my kit. The gentle properties of oat manage to soften and protect my hair, whilst still cutting through excess oil and product build up. The scent is basically non-existent (which I really appreciate) and it gives my hair the freshen up it needs in between washes without weighing it down. The product also offers a fun fact that you save 500L of water a year by replacing one hair wash with an application of dry shampoo (something I did not know). Overall, this offering is a lovely mindful approach to purchasing dry shampoo that you will thank yourself for. ($17.99 at Adore Beauty)
Pantene Pro-V Biotin Intense Moisture Lock Hair Mask – Rachel's pick
I have been on the supermarket hair care bandwagon lately and my hair and wallet is loving life! The Pantene Pro-V Miracle Mask Biotin is a new weekly addition to my hair care routine, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the difference this mask has made to my hair. I love the biotin enriched formula of this mask; it has really made my hair feel soft, silky smooth and look shiny and healthy. I reach for this mask on the weeks I’ve heat-styled my hair a lot and it has never failed in bringing strength back to my strands. After my usual shampoo and conditioner, I pop it on and leave it for five minutes before rinsing. I’m always in awe at how silky my hair feels post-Miracle Mask, and how easily the brush glides through my hair. The mask itself is beautifully creamy, yet not heavy, and the scent is lovely and floral. The price point of this hair mask, coupled with the results, makes this product a real supermarket gem! ($15 at Coles)
