Homegrown organic beauty label Inika Organic is set to be retailed in up to 200 U.S. stores by the end of 2017, as the Melbourne-based label begins shipping to U.S. retailers this week.
Stockists are shaping up to be a mix of high-end spas and salons and premium health food chains, as well as Amazon and a new U.S. webstore.
The brand has received a boost in popularity recently thanks to Emma Watson; who has boasted about the labels true organic certifications. Inika Organic boasts six certifications from organisations including Organic Food Chain Australia, Choose Cruelty Free Australia, Italy’s Controllo e Certificazione Prodotti Biologici and the UK Vegan Society.
Total Beauty Network founder and CEO Tony Rechtman has said that in terms of organic beauty: “There are no other brands that have as many certified organic products, that are truly certified organic, with the [certified] logo on the front, that are also vegan and also cruelty-free.”
With the consistant demand for organic beauty increasing, a stateside expansion is a natural next step.
