Late last year saw Lauren Dunne announce she was moving positions from beauty editor at PRIMPED to a freelance role with the site in order to focus on her own website BlushHour.com.au. Now, due to her site’s quick success, April 28 will see Dunne closing the door on her freelancing duties at PRIMPED.
“While I've had a ridiculously fun time talking lipstick and liner with thousands of Primpers over the past couple of years, the time has come for me to move on and focus on new projects,” says Dunne.
“I'm delighted to say that my website BlushHour.com.au has grown faster than anticipated - after just a few months of operation the site is already receiving over 30,000 pageviews a month and has over 17,000 Facebook fans and counting. I'm now planning to focus on the site full-time along with a small selection of other freelance projects.”
Beauty journalist Yasemin Trollope will be writing for PRIMPED on a freelance basis and will be the main point of contact for PRIMPED editorial from April 29 onwards.
