Lauren Dunne launches new beauty website

After announcing late last year that she was taking the leap into freelance journalism, Lauren Dunne is excited to reveal she has been working hard on her own beauty website, BlushHour.com.au.

The beauty editor’s site features educational know-how and inside information on all the latest must-have products, as well as competitions and giveaways. Despite only being soft-launched last month, BlushHour.com.au has already amassed over 23,000 pageviews and 13,000 Facebook fans.

“During my time at PRIMPED.com.au, I fell head-over-heels in love with WordPress, widgets and the fast-paced and ever-changing landscape of online publishing, and this love of all things digital has inspired me to launch my own beauty website, BlushHour.com.au,” says Dunne.

“BlushHour.com.au is an online shrine to prettiness, with a whimsical and ultra-feminine look and feel. While the site is written predominantly with twenty-somethings in mind, BlushHour.com.au is also developing a strong following within the teen demographic due to the site’s playful blog-style voice and youthful design.”

In addition to editing BlushHour.com.au, Dunne will continue to create beauty content on a freelance basis for PRIMPED.com.au. She is also available for copywriting projects, beauty product and swatch styling, and social media management.
