After joining Bauer Media Group in 2010 as the editorial co-ordinator for Cosmopolitan magazine, Gyan Yankovich quickly moved up the ranks to her current role as beauty editor at CLEO and DOLLY.
While she has been a renowned face on the beauty publishing scene for a few years, Yankovich is set to leave the world of magazines, accepting a new role at BuzzFeed. Yankovich's last day at CLEO/DOLLY is January 9.
“If you start working somewhere as a teenager, it’s not one bit surprising when it’s hard to say goodbye. I’ve worked with some amazing people during my time at Cosmopolitan, DOLLY and most recently, CLEO, and I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world that I now get to call a lot of them my best friends. The DOLLY title in particular holds a very, very special place in my heart and I’m positive that it always will," says Yankovich.
"That said, life’s all about new challenges - so I’m very excited for my new role in the Sydney BuzzFeed office, where I’ll be writing style, DIY, health, food and travel content – most likely in list-form accompanied by many, many gifs.”
Yankovich will begin work at BuzzFeed on January 19.
