SEPHORA’s world domination continues, with the US-based beauty giant confirming plans for the launch of a second Australian store in September. The store - one of 2000 worldwide - is under construction and located at the Macquarie Centre in North Ryde.
SEPHORA Australia country manager Libby Amelia says the company is thrilled with its Australian expansion plans: “Australia’s first SEPHORA store has been hugely successful and the demand for another store outside of the CBD has been high.”
She believes its popularity is the result of strict high standards in all physical retail outlets. “In every store around the world, SEPHORA customers receive the same unique shopping experience; it’s a place for discovery, sensuality, entertaining, and expertise,” says Amelia.
It seems further store openings around the rest of the country are inevitable, with Amelia stating: “I can’t confirm our next move just yet, but the brand is set to grow in Australia. For a long time, Australian beauty enthusiasts have been experiencing SEPHORA overseas, so we want to ensure we find the right location to ensure the brand heritage and DNA is always replicated.”
