The Australian Magazine Awards (AMAs) will return in November, with entries now open for the nation’s media. As publishing’s night of nights, the awards help to celebrate innovation and success in Australia’s magazine scene.
AdNews publisher and AMAs founder James Yaffa says: “The AMAs have gained considerable ground in being recognised as an entirely independent and inclusive program. A judging panel of top-level media buyers and clients will assess the overall brand performance in areas such as; print, digital, content, events and growth areas such as e-commerce.”
There have been small changes made to the annual media celebrations for this year – the Designer of the Year category has been introduced to recognise aesthetics. The best use of Multi Media category has also been welcomed in an ode to the growing presence of cross-platform development. The Native Advertising category has morphed into Best Content Marketing Campaign of the Year award, and former website and app categories are now Digital Brand of the Year award. Entries to the 2016 AMAs close on September 23.
