Two influential Australian PR companies merge

Bang PR is thrilled to announce it has acquired fashion PR agency Park Avenue to join the M&C Saatchi Group in Sydney. The Park Avenue Agency will join the Bang PR team to offer services across fashion, lifestyle, major events and entertainment.

Already proving to be a successful merger, the combination of the two existing agencies has generated a new client win, with the new-look company signing on globally-recognised brand Havaianas.

“We’re excited to develop the M&C Saatchi public relations offering and believe the combined efforts of Bang PR and Park Avenue provide something unique to the market,” says M&C Saatchi chief executive officer Jaimes Leggett.

Bang PR managing director Annalise Brown says of the acquisition: “The entire team is thrilled with the recent acquisition of Park Avenue. Our merged services allow us to offer strong combined strategic and innovative thinking across the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment sectors. The strength of the developing relationship has already been proven with an exciting new client and we’re looking forward to seeing more success as a result of our new thinking.”

Park Avenue founder Colette Harvey adds: “This is an exciting step for our agency. We can now present our clients with a full-service offering with the M&C Saatchi Group. We know the power of different platforms and influencers for our clients and we now have the ability to offer discipline agnostic solutions.”

To accommodate the expanded team, Park Avenue Agency and Bang PR have leased a new showroom on Boundary St, Darlinghurst.
