is tapping into Amy Adams’ appeal, signing the actress on to be the ambassador of the brand’s new women’s scent, Eau de Lacoste.
The luxury brand is giving its Facebook fans a sneak peek into the new partnership, previewing a video of Adams discussing the scent via its Facebook page. Fans will also be given the option to sign up for a VIP sample of the fragrance, according to Antoine Delgrange, marketing director for Lacoste fragrances at Procter & Gamble Prestige.
"Amy's film career has been varied - she is not typecast - she is refreshingly grounded and a truly modern inspiration for women," Delgrange says. "Amy embodies all the characteristics that are in tune with the Lacoste brand, such as femininity, sensuality and naturalness elegance, playfulness and confidence."
Adams said in a statement, "It's such an honour and so flattering to be the face of Eau de Lacoste... Scent has been the thing that triggers emotion in me more than anything."
The fragrance will reportedly launch in the Asia-Pacific region in February, although no date for an Australian launch has been confirmed.
