Instagram has proven its ability to ignite a career, with the infamous Porn for Women Instagram account launching an online site on May 13. Sarah Gidick started the Porn for Women Instagram for fun in January 2013, and now has almost 80,000 followers. The launch of The PFW site is proof of how much pull Instagram accounts can have on initialising a digital presence and creating vocational content. Upon addressing her readers on the new site, Gidick made fun of her reversed way of doing things: I realise it's a little backwards to make a website for an Instagram account, instead of the usual routine.”
