Hair look:
“Anna Quan wanted something to walk down the runway that was effortless but still had a structure to it, just like the garments. She has such beautiful finishes and extra lengths so we’ve tried to emulate that in the hair. Anna has also been collaborating with a hair jewellery designer so all of the looks we’re doing today are being finished with jewellery. Anna wanted to not change the hair of the cool girls who have really cool, natural cuts so we want them to just go down the runway like themselves. For the girls with long hair we’re kind of reverting back to the 90s and doing a top-to-tail braid that’s finished off with a rope braid. To this look we’ve used Kevin Murphy Hair Resort in the hair, and that’s going to get pulled out just before they go on the runway for that really effortless floatiness. Then we’re going to put the jewellery in. For the girls with medium length hair we’re doing the same braid but pulling it back up on itself to give everyone an even look.

Makeup look:
“It’s about dewy everything, and this looks is taking the glowy, wet look to the extreme but keeping a matte lip. Everythings about contrast in Japan, and so with this makeup we’re mixing the traditional with the modernity. So for example we’ve got really gorgeous wet skin, but bushy brows. To create that hyper wet look we’re spraying the models with the shu uemura Skin Perfector Mist right before they step out. It’s a combination of oil and water which when shaken gives you that beautiful glowy look. We started with our Cleansing Oil, and the hero product for this look is the Skin Perfector Oil, you can’t see the oil on the skin but once you put the foundation on it gives the skin a really beautiful natural glow. Second thing we use is our Lightbulb Foundation which is macadamia oil based, this ensures their skin glows under any light. So this is how we’ve achieved a beautiful glowing face without any shimmer or illuminator. For the lip we aren’t using a lipliner, we’re using our 7H brush which has a curved edge that creates a beautiful straight line, and respects the shape of the lips.”
