Who: Ten Pieces
When: 9:30 am, May 18, Bondi Icebergs

Hair: John Pulitano for Redken
Hair look:
“The look is a bit more punk, so we have skinheads for the boys and for the girls we have a really punky, fluffy, f**ked-up kind of texture. So we’re using Rootful 06 in the hair to start, and then using the hairdryer to almost backcomb the hair so that we get that backcomb feel at the roots. We’ve layered that two or three times to get a really chalky feel in there, and then once the hair’s really teased we’re using some Pillow Proof Dry Shampoo to take out any moisture that we can’t get out. That keeps it powdery. Once we’re done with that we’re using Windblown. The hair’s just really dishevelled with a lot of attitude. ”

Makeup: Carol Mackie for M.A.C
Makeup look:
“The inspiration behind the look and the collection is quite structural. There’s a lot of clean lines and it’s almost architectural so we wanted it to be a little punky, and very worn in and slept in. We wanted the models to have a really f**ked up eye, and a slept in look, so we actually did their makeup last night so they could sleep in it. We used an eyeshadow called soot, which gives a really dark smokiness and we’ve been using our fingers instead of brushes so that it almost looks like they’ve done it themselves. You know how when you do a black liner, and the next day it always looks better, that’s what we’re going for. For the skin, we’ve used the Prep + Prime Softening Lotion to prep the skin last night and a bit more today. We’ve also used the Time Check Lotion to soften the skin, and then we’re just spot concealing where necessary.”
