Thierry Mugler’s Womanity awarded

Thierry Mugler’s fragrance Womanity has won The Perfumers Award at the Fragrance Foundation France Prix des Parfums 2011. The scent is known for its use of the molecular distillation method, which allows for Womanity’s distinct combination of a sweet and sour note in the one fragrance. The winner of this prestigious award is chosen by a panel of perfumers, and is highly regarded in the industry.

According to the scent’s creator, Thierry Mugler, it’s a musical fragrance tuned to the emotions of the woman who wears it.”

Other winners on the night included Yves Saint Laurent Belle d’Opium in the best women’s fragrance category, and the best men’s fragrance went to Chanel Bleu de Chanel.
