Chlorella
This algae-based ingredient is causing a stir in both the skincare and haircare sectors. Richer in chlorophyll than its sister superfood, spirulina, and full of nourishing vitamins and minerals, chlorella assists with the formulation of new blood vessels – helping to diminish skin redness – as well as stimulating the production of keratin in hair.
Caffeine hydration
While hyaluronic acid has long been on the lips of any beauty consumer in search of skin salvation, a rising star when it comes to hydration is caffeine. A recent study by the Estée Lauder Companies’ research and development team found that, when applied topically, caffeine boosts skin hydration significantly.
