Taranaki Silk Spa’s success was acknowledged at the New Zealand Beauty Industry Awards held in Auckland, taking home the Best Spa/Best Business Model Award. The therapist also won accolades.
“To be recognised within my own industry, judged by women that I have admired from afar for years is mind-boggling and humbling, and I am not sure when it will sink in,” says Silk Spa owner Charlotte Ward.
“Winning the best business model in NZ is only as sweet as it is because of the success of not just me, but my team. I am so proud of my whole team, and love the fact that a suburban spa in a provincial town is the best in the country, and there are not many who are more Taranaki proud than me.”
This is the first time three awards have all gone to the same salon.
