The BD team trial a range of products set to help them survive the silly season.
The delicious scent alone would inspire me to use this shampoo and conditioner! The rich, coconut oil-infused shampoo is the perfect antidote to dry, frizzy hair, leaving it feeling refreshed and nourished - the fact that it is sulphate-free is an added bonus. The conditioner feels silky and treats hair to an extra moisturising boost and followed by a light application of the Coconut Oil and Shea Butter Oil Treatment makes it really easy to comb-through wet hair. Even after blow-drying my hair felt soft and looked super shiny. The range also includes a Deep Nourishing Conditioning Treatment which I will endeavour to try as a once-a-week treatment to keep my hair looking and feeling its best. - Janet
Now I’m in my mid-twenties, those pesky fine lines are starting to rear their ugly heads, especially on my forehead. Looking into anti-ageing options, the freezeframe ® NIGHT cream really stood out to me for its unique formulation. Like the name suggests, it’s a night-time moisturiser enriched with vital vitamins and nutrients that help relax expression wrinkles in just 28 days. All I do is slap it on right before I hit the hay and let the magic cream do its thing! - Aja
Try as I might to be better, I am a little bit useless at looking after my hands and feet. I always keep hand creams in easy to reach places (eg, on my desk at work) - yet still can’t get into the habit of putting them on. But there’s a (sea) change in the air! Since being given the Sea Siren Cosmetics Sealicious Hand & Foot Mask, I’ve been much better at remembering to apply product to my hands and feet. This divine-smelling mask is infused with organic kelp, cucumber, aloe vera and safflower to help hydrate and moisturise the skin. With an easy-to-use pump bottle - my bad habits are slowly coming good… - Yelena
The party season has been firmly entrenched in our social calendars, and as we fastly approach Christmas there are more parties than creepy Santas preying on unsuspecting mothers at Westfield. There are a few rules for Christmas parties that I believe are standard common courtesy: 1) don’t inhale so many glasses of Champagne that you forgo all self-respect (save that for the after-party), 2) wear comfortable shoes, and 3) don’t go breathing rank breath on anybody. See, many a lass or lad would never dream of forgetting a roll of deodorant or spritz of fragrance, but then we forget our ol’ trap and make everyone suffer through the delightful concoction involving leftover teriyaki rolls and last night’s 6-pack. YUCK. I’ll be making sure I swish some of my Jason mouthwash before I leave the house every damn day this silly season. It doesn’t have any of the nasties many mouthwashes on the market do, without falling short of delivering a fresh, minty result. Now I’ll be ready for that mistletoe… - Kelly
Let’s be honest - the festive season is a time to embrace gluttony in all its forms. There’s eating, drinking, sleeping and tanning in excess and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Unfortunately all this overdose of fun doesn’t tend to sit well with my face - over the Christmas/New Year period my poor complexion takes a beating, leading to flare ups and breakouts of biblical proportions. My only saving grace is the Cattier Clay Mask Pink Sensitive Skin - a facial mask crafted from pink clay to treat sensitive and reactive skin. Shea butter and peppermint are incorporated into the formula, detoxifying, nourishing and stimulating my face back to its perfect pre-yuletide health. - Sarah
